Anders Group is looking for a qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist to fill a current need in Jackson, TN. This Interventional Radiology Technologist should have 2+ years of recent experience for this 13 week assignment.
Interventional Radiology is involved in the treatment of the patient, as well as the diagnosis of disease. They treat an ever-widening range of conditions inside the body from outside the body by inserting various small nstruments or tolls, such as catheters or wires, with the use of various x-rays and imaging techniques (i.e., CT scanners, MRI scanners, ultrasound scanners). Interventional radiology offers an alternative to the surgical treatment of many conditions and can eliminate the need for hospitalization, in some cases.
The interventional radiological technologist prepares patients to undergo diagnosis and treatment for invasive radiographic procedures. They operate the imaging equipment such as X-Ray, MRI, and CT to assist the radiologist.
